This is a demanding course, with a high quality, however tolerant with the golfers playing straight.
Slices are sometimes fordiden as at the holes n° 3, 5 and 13.
The difficulties of the 9 in holes rise in a crescendo to end in blaze of glory with a fabulous finish in front of the club-house.
From the hole n°3, you are in the heart of the coutryside with very rare species. You will not see again the wonderfull villas until the tee 9.
The hole 10 will rise you on the top of the parkland. So, from the hole n° 12, you will be in the middle of nowhere. Below it, you can see the St Tropez harbor and far off, the other villages of the peninsula (Ramatuelle, Gassin, Grimaud).
After the demanding n°13, you will stay in a area not very hilly untill the start of the hole n° 17, one par 3 of 158 m with a green like flotting on his lake.
And the hole n° 18, like the 9, will bring you back, after a plunging drive, in front of the club-house, on a large and deceptive green.
Be careful at your last putt, from the restaurant terrasse, all the eyes will be turned toward you. |
